How it all started...
Lighthouse Baptist Church was formerly know as Dix Avenue Baptist Church and is located in Lincoln Park MI, just outside of Detroit. In April 2010, under new leadership, the name was changed to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Due to several circumstances including health issues of the former Pastor was not able to reach the vision he had for the church. His labour of love was crucial for what God was about to do.

Expanding the vision...
In May of 2015, Lighthouse Baptist church unamousliy voted on Chad Reece to be the new Pastor. By God's grace Lighthouse has seen the power of God. We have seen souls saved, people baptized, and the church grow.
We now have a bible institute, host our annual Awake Bible Conference, Awake Street Ministry, Sowing the Seed Ministry, and more. We have been able to double the amount of missionaries we support. God truly has done amazing things here at Lighthouse but we know we can't live of the blessing of yesterday!

Where we are headed...
Our goal is to knock on every door in Lincoln Park, MI and continue to expand our public ministries. We also desire to train men for the ministry, plant churches in the local area, and send more men overseas. We also plan on taking mission trips as a church to have a more hands on approach to missions. We are excited about what God has done, is doing, and will do at and through Lighthouse Baptist church. If you are looking for a New Testament bible believing church then we would encourage you to come by a visit.
